Cloud Database Location
When you turn on cloud sync, Safe stores your data in encrypted files in your cloud:
SafeInCloud.db— your main databaseSafeInCloud(name).db— any extra databases, with the database name in parentheses
These files are encrypted with your master password, so you can't open them directly by clicking on them. To view your data on a computer, install the free desktop app.
The folder where the file lives depends on which cloud you chose.
Google Drive
Open Drive at drive.google.com. There are two possible locations:
- Recommended — Safe's own app folder. Manage it via Google Drive's Settings → Manage Apps. You can't open the file from here; the only available action is Delete hidden app data.
- Root folder of Google Drive — only if you chose this location during sync setup.
Dropbox
Open Dropbox at dropbox.com.
File location: /Apps/Safe In Cloud/
OneDrive
Open OneDrive at onedrive.live.com.
File location: /Apps/SafeInCloud/SafeInCloud.db
iCloud
You can't browse iCloud Drive directly to the Safe folder, but you can manage its storage.
- Open System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS)
- Click your name → iCloud
- Click Manage next to the iCloud Storage bar
- Select SafeInCloud – Password Manager
The only available action is Delete data — you can't download or open the database file from here.
- Open Settings
- Tap your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage (or Storage)
- Tap SafeInCloud – Password Manager
WebDAV / other clouds
For WebDAV, Nextcloud, Yandex.Disk, NAS devices, and other custom clouds, the file location is whatever path you set up when you configured sync. See Cloud Sync via WebDAV for details.
